A team of ambitious, young adventurers, led by Captain Sam Merrett, worked steadily to restore the schooner Apollonia and return it to the water. Now, the Apollonia has been trawling ports up and down the Hudson, moving upstate goods south and Manhattan- and Brooklyn-produced items back north —using only sustainable energy: sail power and/or vegetable oil! An inspiring film about a not-so-crazy idea.

"TREES IN TROUBLE: Saving America's Urban Forests" tells the compelling story of how one community in SW Ohio confronted their tree crisis and fought an invasive pest, the Emerald Ash Borer, by taking action and joining forces. The film also explores the rich history of urban forestry in the United States and the exciting new research linking human health and trees.
