Weaving Life with Poet Kabir
An interactive workshop with eminent storyteller and dancer Anila Kumari

Come, listen and dance the story of a young weaver boy Kabir and how he learned about the weaving of the universe. We will go on a journey with him to a town called Varanasi on the banks of the river Ganga in India, where fish, frogs, turtles, alligators, and other mysterious characters taught him about the truth of the soul!

This interactive workshop is designed for all ages, and is especially suited for children, with hand gestures (hasta mudras), rhythms, and oral storytelling that highlights the role of nature and love in our lives.
