Mark Landis is one of the most prolific art forgers of the modern era — and he isn't in it for the money. In the last 30 years he's copied hundreds of pieces, from 15th-century icons to works by Picasso and even Dr. Seuss, then donated them to museums across the country. When a tenacious registrar discovers the ruse, Landis must confront his legacy and a chorus of duped professionals intent on stopping him. But Landis is a diagnosed schizophrenic, driven since his teens to escape "the life of a mental patient," and ending the con isn't so simple. A cat-and-mouse caper told with humor and compassion, Art and Craft uncovers the universal in one man's search for connection and respect. The POV Film Series features a distinguished series of independent documentaries broadcast by PBS. Admission to the POV Film Series is free but registration is required!

Take yourself back to a day before television, when radio was king and the human imagination reigned.  In the radio play genre, the troupe performs an old-style radio show before a “studio” audience. Just like in radio, actors may play multiple parts and the sound effects are created live before your eyes. George Bailey grew up a wide-eyed dreamer.  He had grand plans to travel the world and build great things.  But one circumstance after another kept pulling him back to the small town of his childhood, Bedford Falls.  George constantly puts others before himself.  But when his self-sacrificing lifestyle causes everything around him to collapse, he finds himself standing on a bridge contemplating ending his own life.  Only the intervention of Angel Second Class Clarence Oddbody, who shows George what the world would be like if he had never been born, makes George realize just what a wonderful life he has.
