Any organization wishing to schedule performances in the Cultural Center at the Opera House beginning July 1, 2019 should attend this lottery. The purpose of the meeting will be to schedule for two years (July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 and July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021). Each year on or about the same time a “scheduling” meeting will be held for the purposes of scheduling the next year and so on.
The lottery will work as follows:
Each group will choose a number. The number will vary upon the number of groups represented. (i.e. if three groups are represented then three numbers are assigned.). The number represents the order in which the group will select their dates.
Round One- Each group (in numerical order) will choose one date(s) for their event in year one.
Round Two- Selection begins in reverse with the last group of round one picking first and ending with the group that picked first in the first round.
Round Three- Selection begins with the first group pick as in round one and ending with the last group as it was in round one.
AND SO ON
Once everyone has their events chosen for year one, we will proceed to year two.
OPERA HOUSE RATES- beginning 7/1/19
The price per performance(s) in a 24-hour day will be $700.00 inclusive of custodial charges, [cost per ticket $3.50 (200 seats)]. This pricing does not include lighting or sound technicians. The fee for using the “black box” is $100.00 per day or event,[cost per attendee $2.00 (50 seats)].
